Allianz Arts & Business NI Awards 2010

The Allianz Arts & Business Professional Development Award was won by Emma Cooper from Carson McDowell with Educational Shakespeare Company.

Speaking at the awards ceremony Mary Trainor, Director of Arts & Business Northern Ireland, said "In what has been a challenging year economically, it is encouraging that so many NI businesses have seen the benefits from an interaction and partnership with arts organisations, recognising their impressive track record in creativity and their ability to think outside the box. Particularly in the current climate, creativity and innovation are critical if businesses are to be resilient and proactive in securing their future. This year's Award winners highlight just how effective successful arts sponsorship can be in delivering creative business solutions."

Michael Johnston, who accepted the award on behalf of Emma commented, "We are delighted that Emma Cooper has won this award.  At Carson McDowell we really focus on getting involved with the community and our environment.  We are delighted that Educational Shakespeare Company has benefited from Emma's expertise and input."
