New Appointments at Carson McDowell

 
   

Carson McDowell has appointed five new lawyers across the firm's employment, property and procurement teams.

Commenting on the new appointments Senior Partner Alan Reilly said "These appointments are about investing to deliver the best expertise and service in the marketplace for our clients. Whilst many of our competitors have contracted we have focused on controlling costs and investing carefully in our core asset - our people."

He added " I believe that the legal "transfer" market is currently at its best if you are in a position to buy.

Orlagh O'Neill, formerly at Napier & Sons, has joined as a Partner in the Employment Team.  This team is further enhanced by the recruitment of Rachel Penny as an Employment Associate.  Rachel was formerly a Partner at Arthur Cox.  Simon Turbitt and Chris Phillips, both Oxford graduates have joined the Property Team.  Simon trained at Clifford Chance and has specific expertise in property tax issues while Chris has completed his apprenticeship within the firm.  Andrew Dean, trained Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP in Birmingham and will work alongside Catherine Thompson within the firm's growing procurement team.
