"Commentators laud Carson McDowell for "investing in a great team that covers the whole property spectrum." This depth of resources ensures that "urgent matters are turned around quickly," leaving clients "extremely impressed." As one of Belfast's largest property teams, it is frequently instructed by major clients requiring advice on intricate projects. It is advising The Belfast Harbour Commissioners on the first development agreements with Titanic Quarter involving the Gateway Offices and Abercorn Basin developments. Other notable clients include Herbert Group, Citigroup and MFI."

Area Plans have increasingly constructed land zoned for housing, which means that developers, particularly of housing, have to consider sites, which formerly were regarded as too difficult to tackle - often because of topography, contamination or assembly difficulty.  We have experience in assembling sites both for commercial and residential developments by conditional contract and by using the comprehensive development provisions of the Planning Legislation.

Carson McDowell is at the forefront of providing advice within this sector, acting on behalf of retail and residential developers and leisure companies involved with the assembly and development of sites. The breadth and

depth of our experience allows us to provide a comprehensive service from the outset of any development through to the completion of each individual unit.

We also provide full service to the corporate department where for fiscal reasons a property acquisition takes the form of acquisition of the share capital of the property owner.
