Rachel McAllister - Solicitor
Rachel is an Assistant Solicitor in the Corporate Team at Carson McDowell.
Rachel graduated with a degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast in 2009, attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies later that year and was admitted onto the Roll of Solicitors in 2011.
While working at another Belfast firm Rachel worked on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters and also gained experience in debt recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency. She joined the team at Carson McDowell in March 2014.
Rachel has experience in a wide range of corporate matters including company disposals, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, partnerships, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, management buy-outs, private equity and venture capital.
She also has experience in various aspects of commercial law, particularly in relation to intellectual property and technology, including brand protection and advising on third party infringement, online terms and conditions, service level agreements, software maintenance agreements, data protection and distribution agreements. Rachel is also a member of the Technology Team within the firm.
Rachel is the Secretary of Junior Chamber Internal (Belfast) and is also a member of the Corporate and Commercial Group Northern Ireland committee and the Generation Innovation Steering Team.
