Carson McDowell Advises on Sale of Slieve Rushen Wind Farm to Platina Partners

Carson McDowell’s Energy Team was appointed to advise the Administrators of Quinn Insurance on the sale of the Slieve Rushen Wind Farm to Platina Partners LLP. One of the largest single site wind assets on the island of Ireland, Slieve Rushen has an installed capacity of 54MW, through 18 3MW wind turbine generators. The wind farm is located in County Fermanagh and has capacity to power over 30,000 homes. Platina is an independent European investment firm focusing on renewable energy infrastructure. The amount agreed has not been disclosed.

The team from Carson McDowell LLP was led by Neasa Quigley, partner and Head of the Firm’s Energy team and Emma Cooper, partner in the Real Estate team.
