Carson McDowell’s “Santa Run” – Friday 7th December 2012

09 November 2012

Our Charity Committee has been raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Care throughout 2012 and we would be delighted if you, and/or others from your organization could join us in making our closing event of the year a huge success.

On Friday 7th December, 2012, Carson McDowell is hosting a "Santa Run".   Runners (or walkers - we don't mind) will be invited to don some Santa gear provided by us and complete a 1 mile loop through the beautiful Ormeau Park. It should be great fun and present quite a spectacle - and once everyone is past the finishing post there will be hot drinks and bacon butties galore to set you up for the day.

Changing facilities at the Ozone Centre on the Ormeau Embankment will be open from 8am onwards and the plan is to kick off the run around 8.30am to allow everyone to be back, changed and ready for breakfast by 9.30am.

All we ask from runners is a £50 donation to Macmillan Cancer Care. They do tremendous work for all those affected by a cancer diagnosis and every pound raised for them in Northern Ireland stays in Northern Ireland.

We really hope to see you on the day and if interested please download the registration form from, complete and send along with a cheque made out to Macmillan Cancer Care to Michelle McBride, Carson McDowell, Murray House, Murray Street, Belfast, BT1 6DN.
