Clare Bates Addresses Key Healthcare Stakeholders at 'Transforming Your Care' Event

Clare Bates, Partner in the Healthcare Team at Carson McDowell was a Key Speaker at the recent ‘Transforming Your Care: Mapping the future pathway for health’ event hosted by Agenda NI. The event examined the key drivers for change in the Northern Ireland Health Sector, with a focus on the significant changes that are required in how health and social care services are managed and delivered, in order to build a system which will place the individual, family and community at the heart of how things are done.
Clare spoke on the role of Judicial Review in ensuring the right decisions and changes are made for the benefit of the patient.
Clare was joined by a mixed panel of speakers made up of local healthcare leaders and visiting experts with experience of leading and implementing transformational change in health. These speakers included Dr Paul Darragh, Chairman of the British Medical Association's Northern Ireland Council, Sean Donaghy, Chief Executive of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Maeve Hully, Chief Executive of the Patient and Client Council.
The event, which took place at Grosvenor House in Belfast on 12th June, brought together almost 100 key stakeholders from both private and public sector organisations across the sector.
