Northern Ireland Environment Forum 2014

Sponsored by Carson McDowell, this event will attract delegates from across the public, private and voluntary / community sectors who are key stakeholders in the environment sector in Northern Ireland.

Gary McGhee, Head of Planning and Environmental Law at Carson McDowell will be one of the keynote speakers on  the day.

The forum will be a full day event, beginning with a strategic overview across all environmental issues and then focusing on individual issues.  The theme for the 2014 forum is “Stronger environment, stronger economy” and sessions will include:

  • Policy priorities for Northern Ireland’s environment;
  • Strategic issues and international best practice;
  • Planning for prosperity and well-being;
  • Developing a new approach to waste management;
  • Built heritage as an asset;
  • Towards a long term water strategy;
  • Agri-food workshop – supporting Going for Growth.
