Stuart Anderson - Associate
Stuart graduated with a degree in law (LLB honours) from Trinity College, Dublin in 2007 and subsequently trained with a top tier corporate firm in Dublin, qualifying as a solicitor in December 2011. He relocated to Northern Ireland in 2013 and joined Carson McDowell in November of that year.
As part of the firm’s corporate department for several years, he advised on merger and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and commercial contracts across a variety of business sectors. Stuart has been centrally involved in establishing the firm’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) consultancy service. Working in collaboration with a number of practice areas across the firm, Stuart advises in respect of a range issues including but not limited to Brexit, corporate governance, director training, third sector regulation, modern slavery and anti-corruption. Stuart also currently serves as the chairman of a registered charity and has been a member of the CBI Northern Ireland Under 35 Forum since 2016.
